B2K Producer Chris Stokes + Singer Marques Houston: 3rd Victim Comes Forward Claiming Rape
Chris Stokes (on right), the Lou Pearlman-esque super-producer of early 2000s R&B boyband B2K who faced accusations of forcing himself on band member Raz-B, has new accusations of sexual assault coming at him from a young man. And so too does singer Marques Houston (on left). Apparently they paired up?
The band that yielded breakout success Omarion also had Raz-B (real name DeMario Thornton) claiming in 2007 Stokes forced him into a sexual relationship, only to recant his allegations days later — with rumors then surfacing that Raz-B was “forced” to release the “I made it all up” tape. Raz-B’s brother Ricky Romance (aka Ricardo Thornton) made similar accusations. But earlier this month Raz-B resurfaced in a videotaped phone call with singer Houston, of Immature, arguing over Omarion supposedly spreading rumors Raz-B is bi-polar and prescription medication in some sort of discrediting campaign.
Except now Raz-B (seen here on right, with Stokes) has somebody else claiming Houston and Stokes sexually abused him. The little known singer Quindon Tarver, who worked with Stokes, tells Raz-B in another taped phone call that Houston forced himself on Quindon while Stokes watched.
Over the phone the pair share details of Houston’s intimates (there’s a mole, and foreskin) and how the sexual encounter went down (Houston anally penetrated Tarver, Chris laid there watching). Raz-B says when he was under Stokes’ control, Stokes would have Raz-B top him.
Sound familiar? Don’t worry, Raz-B has already drawn the connection between their alleged assaults and Pastor Eddie Long.
If the allegations are true, then it’s time these young man — who say they were sexually assaulted while under the age of 18 — go to police.
I’m just curious; If both dudes were teenagers and they had sex, was that a crime? Also, Raz B looks a little crazy going off on the phone and it seems like this video may be used against him to make him look like a stalker or something foolish. He’s obviously very passionate about whatever took place but he’s gonna have to calm himself down and seek legal assistance (not to mention psychiatric help as well).

I worked with Stokes and Immature in the early 90′s. He controlled every element of their lives and I never saw their parents. It never occurred to me that any molesting was going on, I just thought he was a control freak. Now, it makes sense. Sad.

I can see why some people would dismiss these claims, but, I see a young man who is very troubled by this and cannot figure out another way to get his story out. I bet DeMario signed something that is keeping him from taking legal matters. I can tell that DeMario trusted Chris Stokes like a father figure and wanted to keep everyone happy, at the sake of himself, it’s very obvious and sad. A man will not say these things unless they are true, much less a black man. No one talks about it in the black community. People are barely starting to see that black men are on the DL (downlow) and are really gay. There is something very wrong when Marques sings about sex all the time, don’t you think? Doesn’t it seem like Marques is trying a bit too hard to create an image for himself that says, “I’m a macho, woman loving sex machine!” Look at pictures with DeMario and Chris, doesn’t DeMario look sad and lost? These guys must have had the same type of personalities so they could be abused in this manner and that’s why Marques and Chris can make this look like this is a lie and DeMario is crazy.

Although Raz is out of control, he’s probably that way because people are lying to cover up the truth. This is why a lot of people get away with sexual assault, others lie and cover up the truth and make the victim look bad. Its sad that people think that only molesting can happen outside of the music industry. This is why coming out to the public makes it so much harder on vistims these days. I have never been molested, but it doesn’t take a damn genius to clearly see that something is definitely wrong, not with just Raz B but with the other B2k members and the way Chris and Marques is going about this whole thing. What would you do if you were being accused of molestation? would you just take out a restraining order??Negative. Look at their actions as well. I think Raz B is telling the truth. However, I do have a problem with the accusations against Marques Houston. Houston was a child himself at the time. There’s a 4 year difference between the two. If Raz B was raped at the age of 13, that would have made Marques ( his attacker )only 17. I believe the true culprits were the adults, Taz, Smooth and Chris Stokes.

I used to think that I was the biggest B2K fan ever. My senior year in high school (2003), my class started a petition to make a new court in the homecoming parade so that I could be Mrs. B2K. I received a Theatre Arts degree in 2008 and my instructor told me something made me think “wow”. He asked the first day of class, “who wants to make it in show business?” Several of us raised our hands. He said “well, take off your shirts.” Everyone looked at him as if he were playing. He went on to tell us that the business is a very dirty industry and it has to be something you really want or you would be shut out by those who are willing to do anything to get ahead. My son’s dad is on the fact that everyone in the industry is a devil worshiper, but I feel that people care so much for the mighty dollar that they don’t care what they say or do. How many times have we sung lyrics to songs and didn’t know what the real meaning was? I believe that we shape the world with the words we speak and, sometimes, we’re not even sure what we’re doing to ourselves by singing lyrics of others. I also believe that something did happen, but I also believe that Raz B should find a better way of getting what happened to come to the light. I pray that they get it together.

Raz-B is most likely telling the truth. Men, especially minority men, do not run around claiming molestation. However, I just find the whole Marques Houston allegation hard to believe. Not my little Roger from “Sister, Sister”! I don’t get a gay vibe from him, at all. Maybe it’s retaliation of some sort, for the Houstons standing up for Stokes. I think Stokes could be guilty, but not Marques.
