Wasn’t he governor of Vermont when same-sex marriage was passed?

Howard Dean is a rare politician, who actually has kept some sense of prioritizing his personal values and integrity above winning at political gamesmanship…He’s a true ally to our community. I’ve always liked him, though many in the DNC do not…he is a threat to their “pay lip service, but do nothing” support for us. We need more like him…

The DNC should pay attention to this guy. His 50 state strategy..which they mocked for ages is probably what gave Obama such a solid win in the General election. If Dean is skipping this it should be a heads up to the DNC.

@Welp:
No, I was right. From the AP:

updated 3:06 p.m. ET, Tues., April 7, 2009

MONTPELIER, Vt. – Vermont on Tuesday became the fourth state to legalize gay marriage — and the first to do so with a legislature’s vote.

@sweetdog:
Well, obviously he wasn’t the governor when it happened. But he’s from the state. And yes, he is an ally. Go Howard.
