Baldwin Brothers Split On Gay Nups

baldwinboys.jpg
There’s some sibling rivalry happening between two of the Baldwin boys. While born again Christian Stephen Baldwin has come out against gay marriage, saying that it’s against “God’s word,” older – and more handsome – brother, Alec Baldwin whole-heartedly supports equal rights. And he recently told The Advocate that he’s fine with his brother’s ignorant ways:

In the modern political world, people like that, whether or not I’m related to them, only help us raise money. They want to ban gay marriage because those people are incapable of having a biological family, that’s their only argument.

You can ban gay marriage, but if you’re going to make it fair, then you have to ban marriage for everybody else who won’t produce children.

But they just single out groups of people that they hate.

Nice to hear there’s one sane Baldwin left.

The sad part is that Stephen Baldwin used to go to the Abbey in LA with Bryan Singer and crew back in the 90’s. He wasn’t at all bothered by being in a gay coffeshop/bar and actually felt flattered by the attention he inevitably got. Now I guess he is just another right wing nut job. Too bad…

Alec used to be sex on legs, in my bear-loving opinion.

Just whip off his shirt, and BAM. Orgasm. See him in the gay-themed “Dress Gray” sans shirt for a perfect example of what I mean.

Young Stephen would have been an anathema to his old man- my social studies teacher in ’83 who was as liberal as they come, and sadly died that same year.

Didn’t Stephen Baldwin do a movie where he was nude in bed with another nude man and the other nude man had his hand on Stephen’s bare as*?

      I’m just saying.

Well, i never really understood the born again Christian thing.

Anyway, at least Alec plays in a descent tvshow, not like Stephen (although I like the Apprentice :D).

Stephen just wants attention. All the other Baldwins are good liberal Long Island boys.

      Fredo777:

As tasteless as it may make me seem, I would still totally do Alec Baldwin, save for the reputation he’s earned for being a total jerk.

I am a born again Christian and I agree with Stephen Baldwin. Homosexuality is an abomination to God and it is against God’s word. God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. As Christians we are to love the sinner and hate the sin, and that’s how I see things. I love everyone with the love of Christ, but I hate the sin that is going on in this world today. Maybe Stephen made some bad movies or he may have went into bars when he wasnt a Christian, but he is a changed man. Unless you have walked in someone else’s shoes, I don’t think anyone here has a right to judge someone just because of their past.

Yes, Laura, I’m sure he does.

He also loves it when people don’t take it upon themselves to judge others.

Who said I was judging? I don’t see anywhere in my statement that I was being judgmental. At least I wasn’t ugly to you telling you to “get lost”. I’ll be praying for you Fredo, and everyone else…May God Bless you! :)

You’re right; maybe you weren’t judging. See, I’ve got this odd habit of jumping to that sort of conclusion when someone comes to a gay blog + posts how homosexuality is an “abomination” + that God created Adam + Eve, not Adam + Steve. That wasn’t at all ugly. So, I guess I was wrong to tell you to get lost.

I just get so “confused”. But, you know how that is for the gays.
