This is child abuse from the start… from the nice little “pussification” video… (I mean, really, does anyone think the children could have come up with that on their own?) to their exploitation for this hoax. No wonder the child got sick. It is a hard thing for a child to call it quits on lying, abusive parents – especially in the midst of so many peers–not only his parents but national news media… He is sick to know of the repercussion he faces ratting on his father. God knows what happens behind closed doors when there is no camera. I feel sorry for Falcon. Honestly, even sorrier than I felt when I thought he would perish in the homemade balloon. All that hoax did was reveal the abusiveness the children are forced to live under. When he squealed on his father, that was his inate childlike innocence talking… He is asking for help!! Can anyone please listen? Help him? That we all stand around and talk about media attention and reality tv shows. Doing nothing. Like the passive wife of an abusive father, we contribute to the boys’ continued abuse. That’s dispicable.

I generally think kids belong with their parents, sometimes even under difficult or unfortunate situations, but these kids need to be pulled out of there immediately. There really is something wrong with Richard and the more I read about him, the more frightened I am for the kids. I don’t know what to think about the Mom . . . can’t tell if she’s afraid of Richard, brainwashed, or a complete moron. I’m not big on governmental type intervention, but I honestly believe this situation warrants it, and immediately. We all need to stand by these poor kids who had no choice in the truly terrible parents they were given. This entire scam is a reminder to me to be slower on criticizing kids I see acting out because some of them are facing some very trying circumstances at home.
