Barack Bites Back At McCain
Barack Obama and his campaign team wasted no time hitting back at rival John McCain, who today released an add attacking Obama’s international popularity.
In this Obama advert – entitled “The Low Road” – McCain’s painted as a negative nancy who simply can’t escape old school Republican nastiness. Oh, and there’s also some bit about Obama’s energy policy, a tax cut for the middle class and the candidate’s commitment to alternative energy sources.

i can’t believe that mccain is trying to undermine obama by attacking his POPULARITY. all his recent adverts come off as promotions for obama. dont think it’s going to work…
I don’t think voters will buy this crap this time around. Not after almost 30 years of GOP policies that have hurt working class Americans. If the American people fall for this and McCain gets elected, then I guess we get exactly what we deserve.

It’s too bad Obama didn’t take the high road. But those consultants have got to earn those high fees I guess.

That, and the fact that this ad is pretty tame compared to the McCain smears and the whole Republican side in general. I hope Obama’s campaign keeps it tame and lets McCain continue to besmirch and embarrass himself.
Compared to the churlish childish Britney ad…Obama’s ad looks like he’s the GROWN UP.
