He probably just thought it was funny. But it's the prevailing attitude amongst too many gays, especially in NYC. The whole world-weary-I-am-too-jaded schtick. In fact, deep down I feel thats the real reason that prop 8 had little resistance from our side other than the half ass crap the No on 8 did. We never really believe anything even before it has started. Hope is corny. Faith is corny. Etc. Maybe there is a reason for that, but it ain't healthy. Sometimes you got to believe before anything real happens. I am a stick in the mud. I know. But it's an observation about why the gay movement is stuck. @fredo777: I am sure he didn’t.
