As a guy who “can’t manage more than a few whiskers,” and a fan of handsome bearded gay men, I must say that I do, on occasion, feel a little jealous or left out. Especially because it seems most of those handsome bearded gay men tend to prefer dating other bearded men.

That being said, I wouldn’t do this procedure even if it would open up a whole new world of dating opportunities. I am very comfortable in my own body, and it does feel great that most people think I’m more than ten years younger than my age. So I’m OK with enjoying those bearded fellas vicariously, but it’s even better when I actually land one. Grrrr!

@TVC 15: At first mine got me what seemed like more action but in the end I honestly believe it was more that people didn’t recognize me & I got more ‘new meat’ lucky.

On the plus side they hold ass juice well and that is my second fave juice.

In 10 years when beards are “unfashionable” again (these things come and go in cycles), I wonder if these guys will feel good about the $15,000 they spent on a beard implant?

Why not be really “in” and get a beard tattoo on your face?

I’d love to grow a thick beard, but i can’t, it comes in very thin and patchy. Beards have been “in” for a couple of years now and wish i can join in. It’s ok, i rock a decent a mustache. I wouldn’t do the surgery, but I don’t judge those who would. I don’t think it’s that big of deal, people get laser surgery to remove hair, they also get hair implants for the scalp, so why not their face?

@sonofabee: I agree. If wasn’t for the fact that it was a fad right now I’d say it was hot.
