First of all, you CAN get that way w/out ‘roids. Second of all, if he is juicing, that’s his affair. I don’t care how he got there, all I care about is that he’s there. His longterm health is his affair.

@tavdy79: Maaaaaaaaaaaybe you can. I won’t say it’s impossible because how could I know? But I’m really doubtful that it’s anything more than a theoretical possibility. I’d wager something very valuable on the proposition that this model’s gains came from a syringe.

Honestly, I had an interesting conversation about this with one of the best fitness trainers in the country. (Someone who works with high-profile athletes and actors, and who’ll rack up a $20,000 bill before you know it.) He told me in pretty certain terms that it’s not possible to get that big naturally, and that if it were he’d have met someone who’d done it by now. Not conclusive, but interesting.

^^^ so? who cares about the road he takes to get there, all I care about is the destination. If someone can do supplements and look great and not all weird and roidy with those horrid roid guts and overly pumped, I say more power to him.

Personally, I admire the dedication needed to attain that physique. I know what kind of work it takes. I’ve been working on my own body for the past couple of years, and while I’m not quite as big as he is, I’m close.

That said, I’m not attracted at all to guys who look like me or him. In fact, I’m quite turned off. Give me a slim toned body any day. Just different strokes, guys.

^^^ I hear you. I work out very hard and diet. I tend to like slim, muscular guys who fortunately are usually attracted to me, although I differ from you in that I can also get into a hot really muscular guy, too.

@hardmannyc: Fair enough. I don’t personally like the destination (natural or not) — I think it’s disproportionate to his frame, and detracts from his nice face. To be honest, I’d really prefer an average-ish (i.e. 15-20% body fat) physique on a guy who is height/weight proportional.

Anyway, God knows that beauty is subjective! And I’m pretty narrow when it comes to builds — I basically like ‘em like average guys-next-door or “classically ideal” but rarely superhero-style.

@Aaron J.: Yep, yep, yep. I guess I’m the reverse, as I’m a smaller guy attracted to big guys. While I’m certainly not rigid in my taste for men, I must admit that I’m usually less attracted to my twinky “gay friends” that look like me and more attracted to buff studs like Mr. Schiermier. Different strokes, indeed! ;-)
