Haydn Evans, a 31-years-married (with two adult sons)) cop in South Wales, resigned from his job after using the police database to check on the criminal backgrounds, health status, and addresses of men he met at gay bars. He also searched to see whether any other officers had spotted his car in “areas known for homosexual activity.” By leaving his job, there won’t be any further criminal prosecution of him; he must pay £85 in fees.
