“Big Brother 15’s” Kaitlin Booted, Says She Supports Gay People

Kaitlin-BarbaryFormer Big Brother housemate Kaitlin Barnaby (who was booted last week) says she is not racist and actually supports the gay community, according to an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

Could’ve confused us with her comments shown on the live feed, which included her saying that gay people were “untrustworthy in a game like this.” Another time she also mocked housemate Candice (who is African-American) by saying wanted to see “the black girl come out” of her when Candice was upset about a bed-flipping situation.

While this isn’t as scandalous as remarks made by her fellow alliance members, Aaryn and GinaMarie, Barnaby is still part of the homophobic and racist package that marks this season of Big Brother.

Barnaby tried to set herself apart from the other controversial housemates.

“I actually stand up for a lot of gay people and definitely shut down a lot of terms used in that house so I’m not sure where that is coming from,” she offered.

She also discussed the heated situation with Candice, and said she is not defending Gina Marie and Aaryn (who was dropped from various gigs due to her ignorant remarks) for their actions, “because I know that they made very inappropriate comments and I was never really a part of that.”

Except she kind of was, what with being in an alliance with them and laughing along at their vile remarks.
