The money they can be using to help the disenfranchised is used to fight equality legislation, continue their tax exempt privileges, and paying off the kids their leaders fucked. And it still amounts to less money than they'd have to fork out of they had to pay taxes like the rest of us. The Catholic church is a vile organization; my contempt for it knows no bounds.
