Major television news outlets refuse to report on the biggest civil rights battle in America — the GLBT civil rights struggle — because it might “offend” some viewers to whom they wish to sell Viagra or tampons via their commercial sponsors. So, they play it safe and substitution pablum for real news of real events in society.
Forget ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX as “news” channels, let’s just call them what they are — shallow, irrelevant, unreliable, boring, yellow journalism, and NOT the NEWS.

This silly bint wants to bomb and occupy Iran. Repealing DADT would provide more cannon fodder for that misadventure. She should support the repeal. It’s the only consistent position to take.

And to think, 1/3 of the gay and lesbian vote went to McCain/Palin (the highest ever to the Republican presidential candidate), both of whom have come out against the repeal of DADT.

Stupid pet trick….if she blows hard on her thumb, all the veins stand out in her neck. Maybe she can write the Constitution of the United States on her hand too, along with “Nuke Iran, intern gays in camps, and quit when she feels she is no longer effective in her role.” It’s like a bad comedy.
I’m just itching to vote against this dimwit. Let’s all hope she runs in 2012. This will show the world how truly moronic our political system can be when the Republicans nominate her. Oh wait, that already happened with that Texan.
If more of us would vote “independent” maybe we could kick the shit out of the paralyzing twin-party fascism that we’re stuck with now. If legislators are not stuck with idealogical alignment, as is currently the case, maybe we could get more actual representation, and the actions in Congress would finally reflect the will of the people, as in health care and our rights on issues like DADT and ENDA. Looks like marriage would be a bit more of a stretch until younger people get off their duffs and start voting in larger numbers.
