Kids these days, to paraphrase the immortal words of Rodney Dangerfield, have no respect. Our favorite Chinese nonagenarian grandmother has come under fire after recording a video supporting her gay grandson from a homophobic blogger who had the balls — or lack thereof, because, honestly, she’s 90 years old — to call her a former prostitute.
The South China Morning Post reports that the blogger, Jixiangjingang001, wrote in a series of posts:
“This grandmother may have been a prostitute or a comfort woman, otherwise an elderly Chinese person of her age would never have made such comments….I am sympathetic with gays, but will absolutely not tolerate such an old lady who flouts Chinese morality and ethics to publicly support gays.”
According to SCMP, the blogger went on to argue that prostitutes have “better moral standards than gays because unlike homosexuals, they were often forced into working in the sex industry.”
Outraged internetters came to the granny’s defense, demanding an apology from the blogger. When he refused, they posted what they believed to be his name and phone number on the web. The SCMP, having contacted the blogger, spoke to a man who claimed that he could no longer be reached at that number. He also said he had called the police after receiving numerous abusive phone calls.

While other LGBT bloggers warn against using “verbal violence” against the bigot, China’s PFLAG — which produced the original video with the 90-year-old nana — has promised to write a letter revealing the blogger’s “words to all his business partners” if he does not apologize.
Fuck the apology, someone needs to wipe that young man’s mouth out with soap. You just don’t go around calling someone’s grandmother a whore. This isn’t Golden Girls and that blogger (probably) isn’t Sophia Petrillo.

I keep tellin’ you, these conservative pieholes are toxic, no matter what country they’re in. They have no morals but have replaced them with pious faux righteousness. GLBT people are probably the most moral people on earth because they are, and have been the victims of these Neanderthal religious and non-religious wing nuts! Pity them, pray for them!

LGBTs are the most moral. In the history of pride parades, the thousands upon thousands of protesters who have spewed venom have never been attacked by a gay person. There was a news story earlier this year I think about a protester that was attacked — Fox “News” was all over it as “proof” that gays are violent. Turns out the attackers were straight people.
Religious demonstrations often turn violent and have been responsible for thousands if not millions of deaths including a history of wars and violence and terrorism. Gay pride parades have never ever been violent by the hands of gay people.

I mourn the death of civilized discourse. Bloggers like that are the kind of people who will destroy the First Amendment (yes I know he is not American and subject to our Constitution but there are many bloggers of all philosophies that feel they have to be completely hyperbolic to be heard by the Internet clutter).
