It flopped because no one really cares about him anymore. His voice was excellent in the late 80's and early 90's. In the early 90's he did Generations of Love, which was tons better than Yes We Can. His voice like Whitney is gone and isn't coming back. But they are both too desperate for fame to notice. It didn’t flop because of his legal problems. His voice will never be like his prime (82-84) but that doesn't mean he hasn't recaptured some of his voice back. All singers voices change over time. Are you deaf? He doesn't sound remotely like his old records. His voice is much deeper and raspier. I heard that song and that's what I'm judging his current voice from. That was since a crap song.
