HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Brad Pitt Turns 50: A Look Back At The Star’s Sexiest Moments

Brad Pitt turns the big 5-0 today. 50. 50! We can hardly believe it. It seems like just yesterday we were fawning over the blonde-haired, blue-eyed twink in 1991’s Thelma & Louise.

Since breaking out in that role, Pitt has gone on to nab four Academy Award nods, five Golden Globe nods (and one win), marry Jennifer Aniston, hook up with Angelina Jolie, divorce Jennifer Aniston, become a father many times and become a champion for LGBT rights.

In 2006, Pitt told Esquire magazine that he and Jolie wouldn’t officially tie the knot until marriage equality was achieved across America, a promise they’ve so far kept. In 2008, he donated $100,000 to the campaign against Prop. 8, the ballot initiative that banned same-sex marriage in California. And in 2012, he appeared in a performance of Dustin Lance Black‘s play 8, a staged reenactment of the federal trial that overturned Prop. 8.

On top of all that, he’s sinfully good-looking.

So we thought we’d take a moment to celebrate the sexy stud. Happy Birthday, Mr. Pitt! Here’s to many more!
