Breaking Mold, Eric McCormack To Play Quirky White Collar Television Character

Eric McCormack will once again look to TNT to convince American television viewers he’s more than an uptight lawyer with a co-dependent fag hag relationship, signing on to star in Perception as a “crime-solving neuroscientist, who works with the federal government to solve complex cases using his knowledge and imaginative view of the world.”

Wow! A “quirky” character who works with the police to solve crimes!! This sounds very original. It’s nothing like Monk, Castle, Lie to Me, etc., etc., etc.

I wish Queerty would break the mold and tone down the snarkiness. It’s getting to be like a pretentious 15 year old’s LiveJournal.

Anything wrong with an actor working for a living?

@Bernie: …and Mentalist, Bones, Psych, Murder she wrote…

The format is second only to the doctor-practice-dramedy one on the list of tired hacks’ output.

Queerty “writers” are likely all unsuccesful, frustrated, non working entertainers so they constantly create BS posts on successful actors/journalists – McCormack, Quinto, Bomer, Cooper – to cover inadequacies of their own.
