Britain’s first terrestrial radio station for the gays has debuted, and it promises to play more than just Madonna and Kylie. You can even listen online, even if you don’t live in the U.K. And while its name — Gaydio — originally had me considering turning Pandora back on, the half hour or so I checked out was actually pretty decent.

It’s not the first radio station for gays – Gaydar Radio preceeded it by many years (http://www.gaydarradio.com/).
Also, it’s only available on FM in Manchester. However, both Gaydio and Gaydar are available online.

I used to play Gaydar Radio in my office until the UK required that non residents pay a subscription fee.

@Qjersey: I thought they had changed that. Try: http://mp31.gaydarradio.com/gaydarradio_high_1

This is yet another example of segregation. Marketing is undermining our integration into society.
We shouldn’t be segregating ourselves nor should we be subscribing to segregation marketing.

Gaydar Radio has been around for a minute. I listen to it everyday here in the States. Good for Gaydio, but they weren’t the first.

As Whitney Houston’s “How Will I Know” is playing as I write this, I’m hooked!!!
