If only those silly Americans had made the same call, we wouldn’t be dealing with this, AMIRIGHT? [Guardian]

WTF???!!! AMIRIGHT, no, you so fucking wrong, so fucking wrong!

Adoption services are a public accommodation, and as such, each and every member of the general public is entitled to avail themselves of the services of a public accommodation without being subjected to illegal discrimination. Furthermore, in DC as it was in Boston, the Catholic adoption agencies were receiving taxpayer support to fund their operations. So you want gays/lesbians to underwrite bigotry and discrimination against ourselves?

Children who need loving homes will have their opportunities reduced by this ruling. Unfortunately they will continue to be at the mercy of certain Catholic priests with less honourable intentions.

Both Queerty and The Guardian have got this story muddled – they haven’t “won”, they’ve just been allowed to appeal…

It is so heartwarming to see how deeply religious persons always place the needs of innocent children needing a loving home first. And all that they care about is the welfare of these poor kids……………………

Actually the deeply religious persons are vile hate filled scumbags who put their lunatic lemming like wicked beliefs above the wellbeing of innocent children. I am hoping that Satan has a special corner in hell for these bastards……..

Seventeen words. Is that a new Queerty low for blogging/commenting? Because this thumbsucker shit certainly can not be called “reporting.”

Having successfully made “married couples” the “first choice” in state adoption—specifically to discriminate against Gays…Arizona lawmakers are now trying to pass a law to allow faculty members in state colleges and universities to carry concealed guns on campus. Harper, the bigot who’s pushing this, explains it will “prevent” events like the Virginia Tech massacre—he believes criminals will stay away if they believe faculty will shoot back.

The actual police and security are not supportive. They point out their first responsibility is to spot the criminal—which might be difficult if when they arrive, everyone is armed…
