From Brody Jenner’s Instagram comes an example of what not to do when asking someone about their trans parent.
Jenner, son of arguably the most famous trans person in the world, was shopping for sunglasses at Walgreens with a friend and was rudely interrupted by what can only be described as an Internet Troll that sprung to life.
We have more than a few questions for her, but, if you can’t say anything nice…

@Mack: I was thinking the same thing. Surely they’ve been online and seen way worse said about Bruce/Caitlyn. This family airs all their family matters to the public, and these types of encounters are what they voluntarily open themselves up to when they do reality shows and pay media outlets to shove their every move down our throats. It’s probably just another desperate attempt to get Caitlyn back in the headlines anyway. Totally wouldn’t be surprised if it was all staged.

@Masc Pride: I agree. I think the controversy they’re squeezing out of this is that the woman said “daddy.” but i’m not sure how controversial this is. From the transwomen I’ve seen from reality tv and documentaries who fathered children before transition, they seemed to have allowed their children to continue to call them dad even after transition. I’ve seen the children choose to call them mom or call their transparent by their new name. The biggest controversy for me, is this woman matching her eye shadow with her lip color. Damn Gina get out of the 90s. Seriously though, for a hot second i thought it was Tisha Campbell.

What is the point of this video? How is there a controversy? Bruce/Caitlyn is the “daddy”. Just because Bruce decided to change his name and dress like a woman doesn’t mean he isn’t still a father to his children. Huh?

@stranded: Yeah, I think that’s the “controversy” he’s trying to create as well. However, the kids still call Caitlyn dad and we all saw the pictures of them celebrating this past Father’s Day with Caitlyn. I’d typically say this type of thing is hypocritical, but I think the poor guy is just really confused about it all. We’re all just watching the train wreck, but it has to be hard when it’s actually your dad.

What exactly is the controversy here? She is in the clip for about 7 seconds and it cuts off where she was continuing to engage and started laughing. I mean if she approached me that way my response would be “who are you?” but there’s not really anything here to make a judgment either way. It’s more weird than anything. Stay in your lane lady.

personally i think the phrasing and the attitude. were whats wrong. but the truth of the matter is you have to judge by the behavior of people as much as by what they say. as a gay man. i have been asked more than once where i fell in gender lines. and my response has evolved over the years. when people ask about my sex life. i ask if they are asking me out. if they aren’t i ask why they want to know. if they are asking about my day today life i tell them i am versatile. my late partner had back problems so i mowed the lawn. and he would clean the kitchen so i did the cooking. but i am willing to answer ?’s based on attitude in all truth. and i have never really seen him before. people are right. he is hot.
