Westboro Baptist Church has a hectic schedule! Not only will they be protesting Oklahoma State University’s production of The Laramie Project, about the brutal anti-gay beating of Matthew Shepard, but the group will also head to Florida to participate in a debate on Amendment 2, which ban gay marriage and anything even remotely resembling gay marriage. I don’t understand how the Westboro folks can afford to travel. Haven’t they been sued for a large sum of money? And speaking of lawsuits. Will Carl Rove ever be tried?
Actually, they’re picketing Oklahoma City University’s production, not OSU’s. I was all excited because I’m a graduate of the Oklahoma State Theatre Department and was going to be totally jealous of their attention. :)
Gosh why can’t they come to CA and cause a big news story here.
I am hoping that they make asses of themselves during the debate and that it makes big news here in CA.
WBC want gay people to be put to death. How can anyone possibly take them seriously?
