Those who have gay friends know enough to call them “gay friends”, not “friends who are homosexual”. That phrasing is the sole property of bigots and haters.

Aller was fired for participating in a raid for which he had neither grounds nor authorization. He went rogue, beat up a kid in a bar, and could have very easily left the young man brain injured, if not dead.

The “piece of paper” to which you refer was a “use of force” report which would have documented the injury of the bar patron in his custody.

The uniform policy may sound trivial to you, but it was ANOTHER in a series of policy violations, which demonstrated that this officer was out of control.

The agency fired him for policy violates because that was the most expedient way to achieve a measure of justice, rather than waiting for the Excessive Force Report to be completed, then try to ‘prove’ that cop beat the kid up because he was gay. The cop should be in prison for what he did. He’s lucky he only lost his job.
