Last night, Caitlyn Jenner took a page from daughter Kim Kardashian and certifiably broke the Internet, although, unlike her kin, she did it with impeccable  grace and humility.

Upon accepting the Arthur Ashe award for courage, Jenner announced that she was committed “to do whatever I can to reshape the landscape of how transgendered people are viewed and treated.”

Facing the crowd of football, basketball, baseball, and hockey giants, she soldiered on: “If you want to call me names, make jokes and doubt my intentions, go ahead because the reality is I can take it. But for thousands of kids out there coming to terms with the reality of who they are… they shouldn’t have to take it.”

You can watch the genuinely moving (and genuinely historic) acceptance speech below. And trust us: If you haven’t already, you owe it to yourself to watch this moment in its entirety.
