This, ageism, is a huge problem among the gay community and must be addressed. I find the young gays very disrespectful and behave as older gays don’t exist. I’m middle-aged and I see this attitude from younger gays towards older gays every time my husband and I go out and hit the clubs. It’s not aimed towards us, but we will be there at that age someday as well 21-30 year old gays. Perhaps, they just don’t see it nor think about it.
