Carson Kressley Dated An NFL Defensive Tackle Who Played In The Super Bowl

Untitled design (2)

Carson Kressley broke barriers for gays in television, and he sees no reason that more guys can’t do the same in professional sports.

TMZ Sports caught up with the former Queer Eye For The Straight Guy guru at LAX, and he had some pretty choice words for the neanderthals who still think gays can’t play sports:

“I went out with a football player who was actually in the Super Bowl, so there.”

Well damn, Carson!

The football player in question is former Atlanta Falcons tackle Esera Tualo, who came out on HBO’s Real Sports shortly after retiring in 2002. Tualo also released his autobiography Alone in the Trenches: My Life As a Gay Man in the NFL in 2006.

Carson says he and Tualo are still good friends, and if you can’t get enough of the Kress (yes, we just made that up), he’s holding court judging season 8 of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
