CA's Anti-Gay Activists Using Kids As Wedge
California's social conservatives are sinking to new lows in their battle to ban gay marriage:
Backers of a November initiative to ban same-sex marriage in California plan to tell voters in the state ballot pamphlet that the constitutional amendment would protect children as young as kindergarten age from being taught in school about the virtues of gay and lesbian matrimony."If the gay marriage ruling is not overturned, teachers will be required to teach young children there is no difference between gay marriage and traditional marriage," supporters of Proposition 8 said in ballot arguments that went on public display this week at the secretary of state's office.
And then the gays will unfurl their tentacles, suck out everyone's brains and take over the world!

i hate the "think of the children" argument with a passion. although it is showing how desperate the bigots are getting.
And maybe, just maybe, gay students might not feel like utter, inferior crap for a change!

I think the gay side should take over the "think of the children" argument.
If prop 8 passes, a lot of Californian children's parents are suddenly going to be divorced. Why would anyone want to hurt innocent children by destroying their parents' marriage?
THINK OF THE CHILDREN!
This is SO tired the same sh*t was used during Harvey Milk's life trying to discriminate against gay/lesbian teachers…AND LOST!
Here's the thing homophobes…you are losers, you've always been losers, and you always will be LOSERS.
There may be a lawsuit over this language, which is about the only way to get it removed.
