Perpetually troubled singer Amy Winehouse was arreted Friday for assaulting two men early Wednesday morning. The alleged assaults occurred over the course of two separate scuffles: one inside a bar, where Winehouse reportedly punched a man in the stomach; the second attack came later, when the singer allegedly head-butted a man who tried to grab her cab. The latter, we think, is understandable. [NYDN]

Speaking of choice words, the stunningly loopy Britney Spears allegedly had some strong opinions on Grammy participants Beyonce and Amy Winehouse. Recently rehabbed singer Amy Winehouse has been hanging out with American artist Blake Wood.

No doubt Winehouse’s jailed husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, won’t be happy to hear of this development, especially since Wood and Winehouse have been sharing a hotel room. Winehouse dismisses salacious gossip, however, by insisting Wood likes wood: “Shes said it’s fine so share a hotel room because he is gay. But he doesn’t seem gay to me I think he’s bisexual. Amy’s husband wouldn’t be happy if he saw how close they are,” the Sun quoted a pal of hers as saying.
