To celebrate the holidays, Queerty is playing Santa to all your favorite folks and asking what they want under the tree/ next to the menorah/ beside the Saturnalia bonfire this year, no Ms. America answers allowed.
Brad Walsh is a celebrity's celebrity, a prolific and influential downtown DJ at his own parties as well as the now-legendary pirate costume party known as Misshapes. The Village Voice has called him a “modern-day St. Patrick” with enough influence to “single-handedly driv[e] the scenesters south of Broadway," which make no sense since Broadway is a north-to-south street, but still sounds pretty cool. He's also a prolific photographer and a blogger who keeps up on his life with boyfriend Christian Siriano. They got the puppy he wanted, by the way. His name is Topper. He's adorable.
So what does one of New York's leading trendsters want for the holidays?
The pen, they say, is mightier than the sword. So, too, are the people behind the pen, like bloggers.
Earlier this week our friend Brad Walsh took to the internet - and his media pals - to spread the word about his encounter with a violently homophobic truck driver who worked for a Yuengling Beer distributor.
The attention he received paid off and the driver has been terminated.
Well, there's a similar story brewing today.
Journalist Rogier van Bakel, who once wrote for Wired, asked his friends at Boing Boing to pass along news of a particularly vile costumer service representative from eBoost, a search engine optimization company, whatever that means…

Good news, readers!
The Yuengling truck driver who attacked photographer Brad Walsh has been sacked. From Mr. W's blog:
Regarding the incident from last week, I have been contacted by the distributor that Yuengling contracted to deliver their product. After the distributor was notified of the incident (albeit nearly a week after the incident occurred and was reported to Yuengling, and merely a matter of hours after the story was reported by several news sources) they called the driver and his union in to discuss. I have been told that the driver was terminated.
Yuengling also released a statement again reiterating that the driver worked for an independent distributor and insisted the attack was "against all principles Yuengling holds true."
Walsh is super thankful for everyone who spoke up for him. He would shed tears of gratitude, but he lost his tear ducts in a freak accident. It was very sad.
Oh no! We got some very distressing news from photographer and friend of Queerty Brad Walsh.
The Brooklyn-based homo went on an adventure in SoHo last week when an irate trucker decided to lay the anti-gay smack down. Walsh, who dates Project Runway's Christian Siriano, summarizes:
I was crossing Spring Street completely legally at the intersection of 6th Avenue. A delivery truck driven by a guy on a cell phone was turning and almost hit me and another guy. Me and the other guy put our hands up like "what are you doing," but we didn't say or mouth anything to the driver. The driver (jacked) got out, followed me down the street (not the other guy), called me a "faggot" several times, punched me really hard in the jaw, knocked my stuff onto the sidewalk, and went back to his truck.
Down but definitely not out, Walsh wrote down the truck's info and advertised company: Yuengling, the popular beer company based out of Philadelphia.

Things were oh-so-hip at photographer Brad Walsh's apartment this weekend. The ever-jubilant Walsh, pictured above with Project Runway winning boyfriend, Christian Siriano, invited a few hundred friends into his Park Slope pad to view his first portrait collection, Cameo.
Walsh's pals at Junk-Mag shot some shots of the madness, including one of editor Andrew Belonsky with Mollygood's Cord Jefferson, a lovely image of Sophia Lamar getting incoherent and some random hottie we think would make a beautiful Morning Goods candidate…
See the rest of the snaps here.
Christian Siriano took the top prize on Bravo's Project Runway last night. What do you think, readers, did this pint-sized cutie deserve to win?
Also, on a related note, are you as in love with Siriano as we are? Too bad he's dating occasional Queerty photographer, Brad Walsh. Damn you, Walsh! Damn you…

Welcome to The Home Issue, reader!
We're going to be spending the next few weeks nestling in for the cold winter months. In addition to busting up inside some local abodes, we'll be spending some time looking at design, art, games, books and ideas to keep you occupied until things start heating up.
Brooklyn-based interior designer Chad McPhail starts things off on a hospitable note: he and his boyfriend, Grizzly Bear guitarist Ed Droste, opened their door to our vagabond editor and photographer. See what transpired, after the jump.

In honor of Halloween, we asked photographer Brad Walsh to concoct a totally frightful photo shoot. Aiming to please, Mr. Walsh enlisted a few of his friends for a living dead spread.
See the horrific results, after the jump.

It all started a few weeks back, when we wrote on Sydney's Drag Industry Variety Awards. Always curious about the queers, our straight pal Cord Jefferson of Mollygood mused, "I've always wondered what I'd look like as a woman." We made his dreams come true…
We're not good with makeup, so we called living legend Miss Understood and old (old!) friend Adrian L. Acosta to transform Cord Jefferson into Princess Cordless.
