A crazed Rochester, New York, woman went wild earlier this week and drove her car into a group of five people outside a neighborhood gay bar. Twenty-two year old Chad Coleman was killed. The driver, Sandra Arena, remains in custody after being stopped by a local trans woman. [Towleroad]

"Two teens, accused of beating a gay teenage hairdresser to death in what the police claim was a homophobic attack have been charged with his murder. 18-year-old Michael Causer was set upon by three youths on Friday 25th July and suffered serious head injuries. Despite surgery to try to reduce swelling on his brain, he died at 2:30pm on Saturday 2nd August. An Australian teenager has pleaded not guilty to murdering an autistic man at a known gay cruising spot. The boy, who was sixteen at the time, claims that he gave the man, 35, a beer, and then the man gave him a "bear hug" and tried to sexually assault him, at which point the teen stabbed him twice. Two men were sentenced to life in prison for murdering twenty-two year old British gay man David Redman, whose body was never recovered. Said Redman's family: "Our lives will never be the same again, we will always live with the knowledge that we have never had the opportunity to draw any permanent line or put a stop to this. We have not had the opportunity and probably never will to lay David to rest in the normal sense of the word. We pray that wherever he is, that he is at rest." [Kent Online]

An Australian court found 49-year old Michael John Neal guilty on 15 counts of intentionally spreading HIV at sex parties. Neal reportedly told one of his partners that he "gets off" on infecting others. He'll be sentenced next month. [Herald Sun]
