Earlier this week we posted a behind-the-scenes look of James Franco's Gucci cologne commercial. Well, here's the finished product. It's as ridiculous and airy as every other fragrance advert ever. But Franco's cute!

Gucci recently snagged James Franco as the face of one of their fragrances, Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme. Meanwhile, Arjan Writes snagged a video of the Franco's shoot, which features a "phenomenal" Roisin Murphy cover of Roxy Music's "Slave To Love."

Madonna's sliding down the style food chain, according to Eric Wilson, who spills an insane amount of ink on the pop star's evolving "look." Or is it devolving?

For a performer who has spent 25 years shocking audiences into submission, through her lyrics, actions and attire, Madonna’s latest stylistic reinvention — timed to the start of a new tour next month — is mostly shocking for not having teeth.

The new Madonna look, as seen in paparazzi photographs taken on the streets of New York over the last couple of weeks, evokes a kind of athletic, campus-casual blandness, as if designed for anonymity at the gym.

“She doesn’t seem to have found a particular look for this album,” said Clare Parmenter, a 35-year-old biomedical scientist in London who maintains a fan site called Madonnalicious.com. “It’s a bit — I don’t know how to say it — it’s nondescript.”

David Jon Acosta refuses to be referred to as a "fashion designer," which is certainly queer for someone who spent their life savings starting a t-shirt company, Gold Saturn. Acosta explains, "I don't consider myself a fashion designer. I love fashion, yes, but I'm not into construction. I don't like to sew. I like graphic design, so I put my two loves together. I consider myself a graphic designer, because it's the graphic that makes the shirt special."

We previously informed you that Tim Gunn sat down with TIME for their Q&A institution, "Ten Questions With…" During the discussion, after being asked which potential first lady he preferred. Gunn took a poke at Cindy McCain's taut face. It was such good fun that we're posting the video, so you can hear it from the homo's mouth. Gunn also dishes on the dreaded sloppification of America, living on a budget and which Project Runway contestant he most loathes: Vincent Libretti.

It would seem designers are finally catching up with thrifty fashionistas, which explains the New York Times' piece on cut-offs today.

While we're not about to shell out $130 for pre-cut pants, we whole-heartedly agree with a reader's summation of photographer Dean Isidro's accompanying slide show, "Who's the smoldering model?… I'm going to be thinking dirty things all day today…" We could spend all morning on those calves along!

Italian duo Dolce & Gabbana dedicated their new gym collection to the Milano Beach Soccer team, who definitely know how to work the designer duds.

Suddenly, after several years of being at the bottom of the fashion heap, black models are back on top. In a big way.

Not only are they exclusively populating the pages of this month’s super-hyped Vogue Italia, Wintour & Co. also begrudgingly gave them some attention. At Milan’s Men’s Fashion Week, the designers of Dsquared used a group of models, led by Tyson Beckford, made up almost entirely of black men.

And rumor has it that Lanvin’s show next week has an “all-ethnic lineup.”

So much of what goes on in the fashion world, including the fashion modeling world — is about what’s in. And now, to a certain extent, black models are in again.

David Beckham continues his fashionable affair with Giorgio Armani. The soccer star will appear at Macy's in San Francisco to unveil a new image from his ongoing ad campaign with the Italian designer. We must say, his package looks quite nice from all angles.

Clever! As part of their effort to sell homo-inspired Tom of Finland cologne, some ingenious marketing types launched an international ad campaign incorporating something every gay loves: a phallus!

The drawings of topless men started appearing next to lamp posts, bollards and pipes in San Francisco earlier this month.

Others have appeared in the Marais area of Paris.

The posters have been arranged with the street furniture to leave passers-by with a none-too-subtle image of masculinity.

The drawings have been placed as part of an advertising campaign for Tom of Finland, a new aftershave from French fragrance firm Etat Libre d'Orange.

The scent is named after the homoerotic artist known as Tom of Finland, who was famed for his heavily muscled and sexualized drawings of gay men.

All the posters used in the campaign, which was devised by the Ogilvy agency, are based on his work.

The Tom of Finland fragrance is designed to smell like "a guy coming out of a shower" according to Antoine Lie, who created it for Etat Libre d'Orange.

Hmm, when we think Tom of Finland, we don't think "clean." But maybe that's just us…
