Values "Values" More Than Tourism

Irate islander Eric Selby simply can't stand queer cruises stopping on his beloved Barbados. That's why the irate Selby wrote this editorial letter calling for more public protest:
It is quite disheartening to hear of no dissenting voices in public to the planned stop-over of a cruise ship carrying gay passengers.
Talk about rights! Don't our children not have rights too? Not to be exposed to such immoral conduct which proceeds from these individuals?
A passenger in my car noticed two male tourists kissing on Hastings Road recently. Is this the type of behavior we will condone in our island, paradise and all?

There are stories of young boys and girls being enticed into the gay lifestyle. It is not uncommon to see hard-back women buying gifts for young girls and petting them in Town.
We're assuming "hard-back" women is Selby's polite way of saying "bull dykes.

A Right And A Wrong Don't Make A Right

Pandering presidential candidate Barack Obama launched his campaign on a platform of hope. Time and time again, the senator harped on expectant optimism, pleading with voters not to lose faith in America's future and, most of all, themselves. In turn, Obama hoped people would vote him into the White House.
Too bad Obama's anti-gay gospel gaffe turned his ambition into desperation.

Take On Anti-Marriage Subway Posters

There's an underground war unfolding in Sweden. It all started when homophobic activists bought ad space in the Stockholm subway. And, of course, these people used the space to spread some anti-gay marriage propaganda.
Meanwhile, gay activists asked that the Transport Authority to remove the offensive posters, which depict an arrow through a heart and read, "Save Marriage” and ”Mum Dad Kid” bought ad space in the subway for some anti-gay marriage propaganda.
The Transport Authority, however, refuses to remove the adverts. They apparently see no reason. And, one would assume, lack logic.
