Don't recognize the name Calvin Harris? That's okay, most people don't. In fact, we'd never heard of him until we read that he's been tapped to work on some tracks for Kylie Minogue's upcoming album.

Like Lily Allen, the 23-year old Scotsman got his start on MySpace, garnering legions of fans and landing a recording contract with Sony BMG. This here's the video for his first single, Acceptable in the 80s", due out in March. You'd better choreograph that dance now, though, because we've got a feeling this song's going to be everywhere. Everywhere worth going, at least…

We've just been sent this video from a faithful reader, Joe. The subject of his email read "Kylie is George Michael," so naturally we were intrigued. In said video, Kylie Minogue's voice gets slowed down and sounds dead on like Georgie Boy. It may surprise you to know, but we're equally attracted to Kylie and George, so this is like a dream come true.

We haven't felt so moved this early in the morning in a long time, for we have just witnessed some true stage chemistry. Back in 2001 Kylie Minogue performed her hit song "Especially for You" with Kermit the Frog for a television special, and watching it reminds us why we are so excited that Kylie is returning to the stage after her fight with breast cancer. She lights up the room and those around her, even a stuffed green puppet.

She is rocking the crew cut and is still one of the sexiest 37-year-olds around. She may even headilne the Glastonbury Music Festival next year to punctuate her return to pop stardom.

Joining 5-time children's author Madonna, Kylie Minogue is set to publish the children's book Showgirl Princess, to be released in the UK in September.

Showgirl Princess is not an autobiography per se, but will feature a little girl named "Kylie" who dreams of becoming a showgirl princess, drawing on Minogue's life experiences. According to a representative for the publisher, Puffin, "The book is for little girls who dream of dressing up and going onstage," an inspiration to little girls and gay male adults everywhere. We can't wait to read it to each other and act it out. At last, an excuse to pull those headdresses out of the closet. Again.
