Roseanne Barr knows a good thing when she sees it!

The comedienne received such widespread press for her recent harangue against "Barak" Obama and Oprah, that she decided to take another stab at sociopolitical commentary. This time Barr takes on Oprah's apparent crime against Hillary Clinton:

oprah winfrey has refused to do a show with the FIRST WOMAN candidate for President who has EVER won a primary election, in the history of the United States of America.

I saw Hilary on the ridiculous tyra banks' show, and fumed. Hilary deserves to have been able to address the huge female demographic that Oprah's billions came from. How very disgusting, and how very very telling!!

Maybe if Hilary was discussing her fat thighs Oprah would have had her on. Oprah doesn't really seem to respect the intelligence of her audience at all.

Or, more likely, Oprah realized it would be disingenuous to (very publicly) endorse a candidate and then host a competitor.

Roseanne Barr's never been a shrinking violet, but her latest rant is beyond heavy-handed. The comedienne took to her blog to take on presidential candidate Barack Obama and his medial mogul booster Oprah. Preemptive sic:

barak obama is an empty suit selling "hope" in lieu of Truth. Oprah Winfrey helped to elect Arnold Swartzenegger. I have no doubt that she voted her purse by doing this, as she is a large land owner in California, and that ilk fears Dems because they do not want to pay their "fair share" of Cali tax.

Oprah, you play the race card and the gender card too.

You are a closeted republican and chose Barak Obama because you do not like other women who actually stand for something to working American Women besides glamour, angels, hollywood and dieting!

Roseanne's blog has since been suspended. Don't fuck with Oprah.

Rosie O'Donnell took another shot at former colleague Barbara Walters Wednesday night:

…Rosie O'Donnell mounted the stage at Roseanne Barr 's invitation during her late-night set at Comix on W. 14th.

Rosie started off by saying, "When I was fired by Barbara Walters" - the first time she didn't stick to "The View's" spin that her departure from the show was by mutual agreement.

Rosie also confided that she and the veteran newswoman were actually so close early on in her tenure as moderator that Walters recommended Rosie use Astroglide.

Excuse us while we burn out our eyes and cut off our testicles, which we'll never use again.

O'Donnell wasn't totally insulting. The lesbian comedienne admits that Walters set the stage for female journalist, "…She paved the way for women. She interviewed Presidents…" Barr piped up: "Like Abraham Lincoln."

Bitchery at its finest, ladies and germs.

• Rosie O'Donnell didn't have much to say about Britney Spears' baby drama. A confused looking Roseanne Barr, meanwhile, plans to give the pop tart a call, "I think she needs a mother. She needs help".

• GLAAD takes on NY Post, again:

The Post's Oct. 4 edition contained a Page Six item about an upcoming dating show on Fox Reality Channel (also a News Corporation property) called There’s Something About Miriam. The item referred to Miriam, a transgender woman from Mexico, using the slur “she-male.”

GLAAD contacted Page Six editor Richard Johnson this morning to discuss the description of Miriam. His e-mailed response read, “You're kidding me, aren't you? I would have used ‘chick with a dick’ but we're as [sic] family newspaper.”

Yeah, right.
