Neil Patrick Harris and boyfriend David Burtka are leading US Magazine's deeply scientific poll, "Which gay couple should get married next?" NPH and Burtka are beating out TR Knight and Mark Cornelson, Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson, and Tila Tequila and Courtenay Semel, who are in the final slot. [US]

West Hollywood sure got gay last night. Well, gayer than usual.

TR Knight, his child bride boyfriend, Jay Leno and scads of media folk swarmed on popular gay bar The Abbey for a mass commitment ceremony, a symbolic push toward California's forthcoming gay marriages.

Actor Knight, who recently said he's not getting married any time soon, told the press that he participated to help stop the haters: "There's a lot of hate around and until that hate disappears, you're going to have people trying to push down another group of people for whatever reason."

West Hollywood mayor Jeffrey Prang presided over the ceremony, saying, "Your joined hands are outward and visible signs of an inward and spiritual bond, signifying to all your commitment to each other and your commitment in vowing to vote and protect your right to love."

Yes, yes, hands are all well and good, but where are the diamonds!?

Good news for all those still pining for TR Knight. Despite overeager reports on his plans to settle down with baby faced boyfriend Mark Cornelsen, the actor tells celebrity studies journal Us that he's staying single. For now.

"Mark just moved here from San Francisco," Knight gushed to Usmagazine.com at the Butterfly Ball in L.A. Saturday.

The Grey's Anatomy star dismissed rumors they're planning to wed and that he'll officiate a commitment ceremony.

"To clarify, we are not having a commitment ceremony and I am not performing a commitment ceremony," he told Us.

Knight said the recent legalization of gay marriage in California gave him an "extraordinary feeling."

"Once you are given something that you were never allowed before, you realize how much of a second class person you were before," he told Us. "That is horrible and fantastic at the same time. It makes me want to sob and scream with joy all at the same time."

"The floodgates have been opened they will never be closed," Cornelsen added.

While we're on the subject of floodgates, what's going on in the Kinght/Cornelsen bedroom? We're stumped!

An old, largely forgotten battle reignites this morning.

Former Grey's Anatomy actor Isaiah Washington, who left the show after calling costar TR Knight a "faggot," has filed a complaint against ABC for using his picture in a recent episode of the popular show about doctors and their problems.

[Washington] claims the producers failed to get consent over the use of the picture.

His attorney, Peter Nelson, sent notices to ABC and SAG indicating the alleged inappropriate use of Washington's image, the actor's manager Howard Bragman said.

"They have the rights of the character to advance the story, but not the image," he said, adding that what he expects out of this debacle is a "financial settlement."

Of course he does…

» Good Luck.

Kathy Griffin's got a high opinion of her sex skills. The red-headed funny lady remarked at last weekend's GLAAD Media Awards, "Me and all of my assistants, we all want to fuck T.R. Knight. We’re gonna give it one more shot tonight. I’m going to girl-rape him.” [E!]

TR Knight last night spoke with students at Miguel Contreras Learning Complex's School of Social Justice about the Day of Silence.

The Grey's Anatomy actor opened by offering some regrets about having to even address the a subject, particularly with regard to Lawrence King, before launching into some personal reflection about feeling "wrong" as a child and discussing Simmie Williams, Jr, another, underpublicized queer teen who died this year. Williams was shot for wearing a dress, while King lost his life for having a crush on the wrong guy, his killer.

Knight uses this point to point a finger at intimidated straight men, saying "straight guys feel so threatened by us - look at me, I'm not going to hurt you!" Crushes, he concludes, are completely natural and while they may be a nuisance, they are certainly not a license to kill. Or even maim.

He also points out "If a guy wants to wear a dress, so what? It's not a big deal. Let him wear a damn dress!" But only if the heels match, natch!

The hip-hop scene's about to be rocked!

Well, that's if you believe Terrence Dean's book publicist. The former MTV executive will soon release Hiding In Hip-Hop, which will allegedly expose the genre's biggest homos. From the release:

"Hiding In Hip-Hop" uncovers a hidden and well-known unspoken secret. Deep within the confines of Hip-Hop is a prominent gay sub-culture. A world that industry insiders are keenly aware of, but choose to ignore.

According to Dean, "This book is filled with intrigue, sexy celebrity bed partners, abundance of drugs, and of course, the down low/gay men and celebrities in the entertainment industry.

This tale's a long time coming. Honky homos have been forced out in recent years, like Lance Bass, Neil Patrick Harris and TR Knight. It's only fair that black folk take some heat, too.

We have no idea who Dean will name, but we've got some theories…

We're not psychic, but we do have some theories…

Our minds are totally blown. Actor Luke MacFarlane, who plays gay on Brothers and Sisters, came out as a living, breathing homosexual!

While people have been gossiping about his bedroom antics for years, MacFarlane didn't feel ready until now - when he's a regular on a hit television drama.

I don't know what will happen professionally … that is the fear, but I guess I can't really be concerned about what will happen, because it's my truth. … There is this desire in L.A. to wonder who you are and what's been blaring for me for the last three years is how can I be most authentic to myself - so this is the first time I am speaking about it in this way.

MacFarlane's revelation should come as no surprise. He's previously been seen trotting about with fellow ABC actor, TR Knight. Not to mention his drive-by with Wentworth Miller

Actress and needy fag hag Katherine Heigl doesn't have the best gaydar. She admitted yesterday that she once tried to get on queer costar TR Knight's lance and simply could not figure out why her woos weren't working.

From the Heigl's mouth:

When we were filming the pilot I was single and so was he and I kind of had my eye on him. I was getting nowhere and I was super-confused.

I was like, 'Hello? Do I have something hanging out of my nose? Why aren't you paying any attention to me?

Needless to say, it quickly became a friendship once he told me.

Knight's homosexuality is now moot, of course, because Heigl's now got husband Josh Kelley's soul to harvest.

And they all lived happily ever after…

The ever-alluring Cheyenne Jackson gets all sorts of gay in The Advocate's latest edition. Rather than taking his publicists' white-washing advice to eschew his sexuality, the Xanadu actor lets it all hang out. And we mean really out.

The first time that I knew I was gay — I think I was, like, 7 — I was watching this Valentine’s Day Popeye cartoon episode that would play every year. There was this scene where Popeye was captured by Brutus, tied up with no shoes or socks on, and Brutus starts tickling his feet. I remember getting a little boner.

That's - um, good to know.

While a bit queer, Jackson's frankness indicates a shift in Hollywood's pink perspective. Yeah, Xanadu's the gayest show on Broadway and Jackson's straight roles aren't huge - an aborted television show and an upcoming horror movie, Hysteria - but it's all about the context.

» GGP?

Our minds are totally blown. We've grown so accustomed to fag hags that we never even thought that the road runs both ways. Apparently we gay boys can also be "Gay Gal Pals," which sort of makes us sound like lesbians. And TR Knight's the only non-fiction GGP, apparently. [Newsday]

Us Weekly EIC Janice Min's earning that GLAAD nomination! The tab-rag's website included homo TR Knight and Mark Cornelsen as part of their burning, itchy question: "Who is your favorite spring fling?" Oh, God, do we have to choose?!

We may have to abstain from this one, but will point out that Knight and Star-worthy Cornelsen are holding their own against Rihanna and Chris Brown, who are also pretty cute.

We're on the edge of our flinging seat!

In the wake of Lawrence King's murder, Portia de Rossi, TR Knight, Andre 3000 and a slew of other stars joined gay station Logo to raise awareness about anti-queer hate crimes. Because, as Janet Jackson says, "None of us are safe until all of us are safe". The politics of fear being used for good? Crazy!

It's absolutely super that Logo and these celebrities have come together, but they again raise a serious question: what makes one hate crime more notable than the next? Should one central figure be used to fight a universal campaign. We suppose the pros outweigh the cons on this one, but it's still something that should be considered.

Watch the video, after the jump…
