Gay activist Peter Tatchell - who has repeatedly been accused of being an Islamophobe - came out against the British government for refusing to visa anti-gay Muslim cleric Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who needs necessary medical treatment. The United States banned Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi back in 1999. Despite al-Qaradawi’s fierce homophobia and love of suicide bombers, the United Kingdom may grant him entry for medical treatment. And the move has highlighted deep fissures in the Office of Home Affairs.
