A few things have been called iCondom before, including the “amazing memory” penis sheeth described in the video below from 2008. But none of them will let you find the closest place to score a rubber (so long as you live in NYC, D.C., or Paris), as the new iCondom iPhone app does. It launches for free today on World AIDS Day, and apparently was not deemed by Apple to be too gay.

I hope that this app will include more cities and that some verson of it will be released for other mobile platforms.
Important too, is highlighting places where condoms may be accessed without charge or at lowcost. The cost of condoms alone serves as a barrier to some people using them.
Even my dentist has a jar of them available n each office and in their bathrooms! But you still get dental floss and a brush at the end of each visit. Smart thinking!
