Well, it’s done: Chad Gibson and George Armstrong, among the men injured during the Ft. Worth Police raid on the Rainbow Lounge in 2009, have received their checks for a combined $400,000 as part of the city’s approved settlement agreement. Gibson’s medical and psychological expenses are probably already greater than the payment, plus he has to rest of his life to develop additional neurological and psychological complications. So: Bar tab? Seriously? Because drinking is all gay men are about? That’s the Queerty perspective on this?
