Charges Dropped: 3 of 11 Latin King Goonies Gay Bashing Suspects Get Off

Steven Carabello, Bryan Almonte and Brian Cepeda — three men charged in the Bronx’s Latin King Goonies gay bashings that left three men brutally assaulted and one man robbed — had charges of robbery, gang assault, and unlawful imprisonment dropped because of insufficient evidence, prosecutors say. That leaves eight remaining suspects in the assault that involved plunger handles, lit cigarettes, and a box cutter.

Awful, perhaps vigilantes are needed for a situation like this.

@AdonisOfFire: If you want to live in a country where you can be charged with crimes without any evidence, there are plenty of dictatorships for you to choose from. As for me, I’m pretty pleased with the protections built into our legal system, even if it doesn’t work out the way we want 100% of the time.

Re: Recent release of several members of the gay bashing hate group known as the Latin King Goonies:

I like to start of by saying that it is a total disgrace and travesty of justice that several members of the Latin King Goonies gay bashers, were allowed to get off Scott free, I am not the least bit surprise at how the Bronx District Attorney Robert Johnson handled this case.
Bronx District Attorney Robert Johnson is a bigot ,when it comes to gay people and gay issues, his track record proves that, I ought to know, when I was assaulted and almost raped and sodomized by several New York Yankees baseball players and those baseball players committed oral testimonial perjury in their court sworn deposition, I produced evident to support my claims to Robert Johnson the Bronx District Attorneys office as well as Richard Brown the Queens District Attorney office and last but not least Robert Morgenthau the Manhattan District Attorney office, none of these District attorney wanted to get involved, because they were receiving campaign contributions from the New York Yankees organization and from none other then George Steinbrenner.
The job of the District Attorney office is to investigate any and/all claims of criminal acts and corruption, but some of these district attorney’s pick and choose which crimes to investigate.
The victims of these recent assaults and sodomy are not going to get the justice that they desperately need, unless we, the general public speak out loudly, we must not allow these criminals to get away and win, something needs to be done right hear and now, make your voice heard and say enough is enough.
These are my own opinions and beliefs.
      Thank You.
      Sincerely,

Re: The MTA raising the bridge and tunnel fares and the transit and buses:
I think it’s a total disgrace that they would consider doing that since there are many people without jobs, in foreclosure and starving.
This just gives the MTA and others the right to steal more money from hardworking people and eventually will force the middle class and the poor to move out of New York City and New York State.
When is this madness going to end, and when are these thieving Elective Officials and Management of these agencies going to stop gauging the hardworking people.
Something needs to be done about it and fast, why do they bother having public forums, if they are bent on making there decisions to rip people off by raising the fares anyway?
Don’t they understand that we are in a global recession or global depression?
These are own personal opinions and beliefs.
      Thank You.

Re: City Pushes Back on Deport Ruling, illegal but only when proven guilty:
      Same Sex Marriage Bill:
      In response to your article.
I would like to start off by saying that I have known Councilmember Daniel Dromm for many years and I respect him for the hard work he is doing for his community and Constituents, but I don’t always agree with some of his ideas and policies.
For instance there are two subjects that I am strongly opposed to.
One is the recent passing of the same sex marriage bill, although I am an openly Gay Man, I don’t support Same Sex Gay Marriage, Civil Unions and Gay Adoptions, I am a vocal person and have spoken out on this issue many of times.
Here why I don’t support it, I strongly believe that it will destroy the very foundation of what marriage is really supposed to be, such as rearing children, I was brought up the belief that marriage is between a man and women only with no exceptions.
I strongly believe that this sham of a Gay Marriage same sex bill will destroy civilizations as we know.
After the same sex gay marriage bill was passed, everyone including Gay Puppets from some off Broadway show was able to get married, I found that to be a total disgrace and a lack of respect for marriage, it will also leave open the door for other groups to want to take advantage of this recently passed Same Sex Marriage bill such as illegal Immigrants being able to marriage same sex partners to gain legal status towards citizenship and then divorcing their partners and stealing their hard-earned monies., then you will have bigamist wanting to have more than one partners, then you will have men marring boys and women marring girls, this will ultimately cause more harm than good, I do believe that we do need protective rights against discrimination, but forcing this Same Sex marriage bill down people throats is not the way to go, it will cause more harm than good and it will get people to hate gays and Lesbians even more and some will even go out to hurt or even worse kill Gay people, this has been proven time and time again.
The only reason that the elective officials passed this sham of a same sex marriage bill in the first place is not because they care about Gay people, but only to raise the much needed revenue that the gay marriage bill will generate, I can see that sooner or later, lawyers will be lining up for divorce cases, there are many gay people who agree with me about this sham of a gay marriage bill, but very few have the guts that I do to publicly speak out on it.
Now for my views on Illegal Immigrants, I would like to start off by saying that I am not a racist or a bigot or anti-immigrants; I am just expressing my own opinions and beliefs as I see it.
First I would like to start off by saying I think it’s a total disgrace and lack of respect for the legalized citizens that were born in this country known as the United States of America and our founding fathers must be turning over in their grave with the way this country in heading.
Although some illegal immigrants are very good, hardworking people in search of a better life, I do not believe that we should reward known criminals for breaking our laws and then telling legalized citizens and American born citizens to follow the letter of the laws, while looking the other way when it comes to illegal Immigrants, no one group should be above any other, if you are going to pass laws then make them fair for everyone, if you give preferential treatment to only one group, then you cause people to become racists and bigots.
Illegal Immigrants sneak In to this country illegally, steal jobs from hardworking Americans and keeping the salaries low by appeasing corporate America, don’t pay their fair share of taxes or don’t pay taxes at all, steal people’s identities, sell stolen items, share a one bedroom apartment with 10 or more people, bleed our medical system dry by having multiple babies and multiple surgeries and feel a sense of entitlement because they are from a third world country where their government does nothing for them and some of them are nasty, filthy, disgusting people who are rude and don’t even make an effort to get along with Americans, then they can’t understand why so many Americans don’t like them , these are some of the things that I have personally seen or even experienced on a daily basis.
If an American born or legalized citizen pulled half of this stuff, they would be thrown in jail faster than you could blink your eyes.
The only reason why elective officials are so strong on allowing illegal immigrants to become citizens is because they want the votes, the campaign donations and a photo-op, they really don’t care about the consequences of their actions and what an impact it will have on the future generations and the world as we know it, they are single handling destroying the world as we know it and this great planet known as Earth, it is not the responsibility of the United States of American to be the savior of the world’s problems, do you think that the other countries that these illegal immigrants are from would allow American citizens to get away with being illegal in their countries, I think not and I am so sure that they wouldn’t hesitate to deport us in an instance.
Where does the elective officials have the rights to pass laws without getting approval from the voting public, last time I checked, the United States of America was a democracy country, not a communist country, any bills and laws should first be brought in front of all the illegalized voters and have an amendments before they are passed, when the voting public understands the bills and laws that the elective officials want to pass and decides to vote on a particular bill or law, then and only then should it be passed.
We have to wake up and smell the coffee; did we not understand that when we had September 11, 2001, when so many of our people were killed in the Twin Towers, The Pentagon and in the field in Shanksford?
If we allow the stream of illegal immigrants to continue to flood this country, we would undoubtedly have another disaster far worse than September 11, 2001.
These are my personal beliefs and opinions and no one has to agree with me, but I see a lot more things going on than the average person does on a daily basis.
      Thank You.
      Sincerely,
      Paul Priore

      To all concerned:
This recent Earth Quake here in New York City on August 22nd, 2011 was nothing compared to what I had experienced in Whittier California, in 1986/ 1987.
The California one was a lot worse, where the four story apartment that I was staying in lost the walls on the fourth, third and first floors, the second floor where both my lover at the time, lost three of those four walls, but we didn’t get hurt or received any serious damage or loss of anything, but we did have to evacuate the building in case of collapse and we ended up staying in a hotel.
I was also in San Diego California when the San Diego Padres Stadium was hit with another Earth Quake sometime in 1994, if I remember correctly.
We were only on vacation in California for a couple of months and rented this brand new apartment that no one else had used except us when the Earth Quake had hit that part of California.
We were a little shaken up, since both my lover at the time and I had never been in an Earth Quake before and didn’t know what to expect.
You do get a little dizzy when the Earth Quake hits, I don’t know if everyone experience dizziness, but I sure did, sooner or later, New York City is going to either get a serious Earth Quake of disastrous efforts or a serious hurricane that will cause a lot of structural damage and earth, New York City presently is not ready for anything of that high magnitude despite what they claim.
      Thank You.

Re: NYC City Councilmember/Council Speaker Christine Quinn:
I have known Christine Quinn for several years and she is currently the front runner to be the next Mayor of the city of New York in 2013.
I strongly disagree that Miss. Quinn has what it takes to be the next mayor of the New York City, how can we trust and expect her to run the city of New York as Mayor if she can’t even control her councilmembers from getting in to trouble, she has a tendency to look the other way when it involves her councilmembers.
Miss. Quinn also has a tendency to make empty promises and give false hopes to people in need., she really talks out of ass.
Some of her current councilmembers have been involved with stealing discretionary funds for their own personal use and have either been found to be guilty and who are currently in jails, she has also distributed those funds to fictions organizations.
Miss. Quinn’s track records for overturning the will of the people by allowing certain elective officials to continue running for the same office when the voters have spoken about term limits
Miss. Quinn’s platform was to clean up City Hall, but to date has done nothing to keep her word; she is too involved with making a name for herself and rubbing shoulders with business people, the very same people who are ripping off taxpayers every single day.
Miss. Quinn has stated several times that she was going to put a stop to the member items and pork slush funds but today hasn’t done a damn thing about it, she continues to align herself with corrupted, unscrupulous people and then there was her promise to protect each and every voter and give everyone a say in policies, but I guess that changed, because when she decided to push down the throats of the voters by forcing Gay Marriage, she has violated her trust and her duties, Miss. Quinn says that everyone has a say but when it involves something that efforts, her, then everyone else has no say in anything.
Miss. Quinn has violated the trust of the Gay Community and the voting public, she say one thing but does another, Miss. Quinn can’t be trusted with anything, she is nothing more than a lying, two face career polician, whose only concern is for herself and her image.
If the people of the New York City are smart, they would not cast their vote for Christine Quinn, but rather for someone else who they can control to make sure that those people put in office will actually do what the voting public wants and needs, Miss. Quinn is nothing more than a pathological liar like the rest of all the other elective officials , I have only met two elective officials who actually have the voting people’s interest at heart, unlike Miss. Quinn who has been known to flip-flop on everything she says.
I can personal tell you that she has made me empty promises and false hope when she said she was going to help me when I had my lawsuit against the New York Yankees, the very same organization that Miss. Quinn has sucked up to for money and tickets.
Don’t vote for Christine Quinn for mayor, you will be making the biggest mistake of your lives.
These are my own personal opinions and beliefs from seeing Miss. Quinn in action.
      Thank You.

As a gay man, I strongly support Rick Santorum stance on Gay Marriage and I strongly believe and feel exactly what he is, Mr. Santorum is right, Gay Marriage will the destructive fall of the United States and the world in the near future, we must eradicate Gay Marriage, Civil Unions and Gay Adoption now before it is too late.
These are my own personal opinions and belief based on what I have seen and experienced in Gay Life.
I don’t apologize for speaking the truth.

      To all concern:
I extremely like Mitt Romney’s stance on opposing Gay Marriage, Civil Unions and Gay Adoptions as well as his stance on the illegal immigrant debate.
Even though Mitt Romney is Mexican/ American, he has the commen sense and decency to stand up for his principals and beliefs and not allow any one group to favor another.
This country needs more men and elective officials not to be swayed by radicals, whose only motives is to bully people who don’t believe in their beliefs, while these same radical criticized the very same people who they blame for going against them, everyone has a right to pick and choose and believe in what they deem is the right thing to do.
No one has the right to force anyone in to believing in their cause or to bully those people who go against them, that’s what makes this country a democracy.
These are my own opionions and beliefs.

      Re: Joe Paterno, Football coach:
I standby the victims of sexual assaults, Joe Paterno had the obligation and responsibility to do everything possible in his power to report the sexual attacks on those victims to the proper authorities and decided to turn a blind eye and look the other way, this to me makes him just as guilty as Jerry Sandusky involvement.
These victims didn’t ask to become victims of sexual assaults and are now currently scarred for life, as a victim of sexual assaults, I know more than anyone else what it feels like to carry that baggage throughout the course of your life and having to re-live the whole horrifying experience over and over again.
To this day, I continued to have nightmares and I will never be able to overcome what I went through, just like these victims will never be able to move on, we just have to do our best to live with it no matter what, that’s all we can do.
I hope sometime in the near future that these victims will be able to get the help they truly need and deserve and to someday overcome their heart wrenching experience of being sexually attacked.
My heart goes out to all of them and other victims of sexual assaults whether they are male or female, or even a child.
These are my own personal experience and opinions.

To all concerned about the Greg Kelly rape case, you are automatically doubting the victim without any proof whatsoever about whether or not she is telling the truth, I know for a fact that Commissioner Kelly and his NYPD don’t always follow through with serious cases that include high profile celebrity, so instead of judging the victims without true facts, let’s just wait and see what happens and whether or not Commissioner Kelly and DA Vance will do the right thing and do a though investigation in to Commissioner Kelly’s son involvement.
I don’t think she is making up anything, I just think she was scared because Greg Kelly is the Commissioner of the NYPD son and she probably thought no one would believe because of that, I know all too well what it’s like not to have anyone believe you when you are attacked, because I too went through a similar experience and everyone refused to do the right thing and do a proper investigation in my situation, so what I am saying is I standby the victim until otherwise proving and all of you should do the same.
These are my own personal opinions and beliefs based on what I had experienced myself.
      Thank You.
