I have real reservations about calling a city gay-friendly. That’s because it’s inaccurate. Just because a city has a thriving gay bar scene in one or two streets, it doesn’t mean it’s gay-friendly in an overall sense.
A lot of gay men have been misled by this “gay-friendly city” notion. In some cases, it has cost them their lives.

I would never travel outside the USA. And Chicago is high-crime. I vote “NONE OF THE ABOVE”

@hotshot70: I’m with you on Chicago, but why would you never travel outside the US? What a nutty thing to say.

@hotshot70: Most of the crime in Chicago is restricted to few areas. Overall, while still high, Chicago’s crime rate is dropping.

Toronto is dismal, run down and the gay men are ugly and weird, but a more gay friendly city of heterosexuals doesn’t exist.
I’ve heard DC is the place to be these days simply for fun.
