Reverend Jeffrey Lee will use his ascension as Chicago's new Episcopal bishop to spread gay inclusion. Lee says he sees archaic rejection to be antithetical to the Anglican Communion's historical position: "That's one of the tragedies afflicting the church right now. So many of us seem to think that salvation depends on our theological correctness."
I'm part of the church and the current situation saddens me. They were able to get past the debacle over the ordination of women and it's led by a woman now.
