An unknown vandal figured out how to work an antigay slur into a pro-gay graffiti message on a Chick fil-A in Tennessee.

Nashville’s WKRN-TV is reporting that Chick-fil-A, everyone’s favorite purveyor of fast food chicken sandwiches and numerous  instances of homophobia, has been tagged with a message meant to inform the surrounding community that “God loves fags and chicken!”

Um…thanks, we think?

Though Chick-fil-A has been trying to clean up its act as of late, the company’s homophobic reputation still lingers like the sugary aftertaste of one of their awful sandwiches. This incident proves that it’s going to be a long road forward for them, though the franchise will not press charges and police aren’t investigating the act.

Gay activists have targeted Chick-fil-A with vandalism before, but Tennessee Equality Project Executive Director Chris Sanders was careful to condemn the act and the culprit. “We understand why people get angry about things in the news, things that happen and things that effect equality,” he told WKRN, “but there are very productive peaceful ways of dealing with them we think.”
