Chinese Authorities Finally Crack Down On Website’s Gay Erotica Writers

I wouldn’t call what the police in the Chinese city of Zhengzhou busted a “gay pornography website,” because really all it was hosting were erotica stories. But cops there are championing their arrest of 32 women (including the site’s creator and a 17-year-old) who wrote fictional stories for online forum, which qualify as “obscene materials,” apparently. Of the 80,000 stories (read by some 600,000 registered members), some 1,500 contained “illegal porn descriptions.” Still unknown: Whether the women writing for the site were penning lesbian tales, or stories for gay dudes.

If China’s ladies have taken any influence from Japan, it’s probably stories of gay men written for a female crowd
