Bent-Con, the annual convention geared to LGBT gamers and their allies, runs November 30 t0 December 2, in Burbank, California. We’re sure the games they’ll be playing there will be a little higher-minded, but we’re kind of tickled by Kitchen Fever, a diverting choose-your-own-adventure from FlashGaymes.
At first glance, Kitchen Fever has an air of Leisure-Suit Larry about it, as you play “Jack,” a debonair homosexual looking to score. But after just a few rounds of trying to land a tuxedoed hottie (right), you’re suddenly thrust into a torrid encounter, where you have to click like wild to bring your trick to ecstasy.
Halo, it’s not—but we love that it’s unabashedly queer. And humorously dreadful grammar like “Don’t we seem familiar” and “You are a social lion”—is just icing on the cake.
If you want to check out some similarly NC-17 games with a gay bent, visit the FlashGaymes site (NSFW).
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

Little late to the party aren’t you? Keric’s Complex 1, 2 and 3, Cruising Room, are better.

Loved Leisure Suit Larry – would love a gay counterpart (Gary? Barry?)

To be clear, Bent-con is more of a gay geek-fest than an actual gay gamer convention. That would be Gaymercon, in SF in August. 🙂
