I think most people would have reacted that way. Or close to it. She’s probably used to it now.

Ellen and the Chris are great, politics aside, survivors of bullying and smiling. Hard not to hold grudges against those that do us wrong, but bitter doesn’t look good on anyone.

He’s so naturally funny, I think he could be a stand up comedian ala Ellen with no problems at all if he wanted too.

@ANDY: Meh. Not so much here either. I REALLY want to like it because it is like a video of my high school years, but……

@DEREK WASHINGTON: I must confess, I bullied the glee kids in high school, but I like the show; in addition, as a former high school math teacher, I stood up for the kids that stood out. As a younger teacher, it’s not difficult to pick out the targets or bullies. Now, I finished my grad and going for PhD in academic policy- the whole public system is messed up from the bottom up!

In my high school is was the band f*gs that got it harassed the most, ironically by the football team who they were forced to play for at home games during half time.

@Andy: You might be in the minority of people in general who have seen it and don’t like it. It’s a funny programme with enjoyable songs. Loads of people, gay and straight, like it, whether they admit it or not. Good luck to Chris. He seems like a really nice guy who hasn’t let fame go to his head.

@Andy: It’s wildly uneven. When it’s good, it’s really good. But too often it strays into “very special episode” territory.

I like it but I don’t love it. Sure it’s not Dr. Who but it’s also not the Dog Whisperer.

Why would anyone want to introduce themselves to a phony like Lady Gaga? Lady Gaga avoids showing male-male erotica in her music videos. Unlike the other possible combinations, it’s completely censored. Fuck off, Lady Gaga.

@Andy: Nope, same here. I truly cannot understand those that actually like this poorly written piece of fluff.

Lady GaGa makes catchy songs but I’m SOOOOO sick of younger gays thinking she’s so original. She steals everything from Madonna, Cher, Bowie and Grace Jones. Sick of her!

@Mike: Madonna never did a thing original thing in her life, except marketing ideas she’s snagged from artist. K, let the gay hate fall upon me, but it’s true- her sex image was stolen from Debbie Harry (Blondie), going back to Marylin Monroe, Bettie Page, and the likes. Name any true artist before her time that give her credit for talent in music, not market or image?

Change that to “…who has heard GaGa, Madonna, Christina Aguilera and every other straight woman singer that I’m supposed to idolize just because I suck dick” and I’d agree. :-)

I love Glee, but don’t really get the whole Lady Gaga thing. Her songs are ok and fun to dance to…but I wouldn’t classify them as songs to be remembered for a lifetime or anything.

She’ll probably go the way of Rihanna, huge this year, gone the next.

I enjoy Glee. And Lady Gaga. I’m not fanatical about either, though; I think Glee has a hilarious script and that Chris Colfer (as well as the other actors) are pretty decent, and I think that Gaga has talent–she can write catchy songs that are fun, in my opinion. I’m not obsessed, but I don’t hate it; I don’t understand either side, quite honestly.
