The amount of effort it takes to write a children’s book is small. The amount of effort it takes to write a GOOD children’s book is huge. Sales have absolutely nothing to do with determining a good children’s book. I’m not saying this book is not good, but lets see if it manages to earn at least an honorable mention at the various literature rewards for children’s literature.

Hey Daez, link the books you’ve written at Amazon here so we can check out your work since you’re an expert. Colfer’s “childeren” book is not some 12 page ditty. It’s a 440 page novel. He is debuting at Number One on The NY Times Bestsellers List. A simple congratulations would have sufficed.

Wow, what’s with the b1tchy comments? Why can’t you be proud that this young gay man is successful? This is why the gay community is a mess – because there is no real community. Gays don’t want to stick together and be supportive of eachother, they just want to tear everyone apart. Sad.
