I’m not sure what, exactly, it means to create “rugby-inspired” footwear, especially when it comes to Christian Louboutin and his signature red sole. But that’s what the shoe designer will be working on as a tribute to pal Gareth Thomas, so I’m imagining the “casual shoe lie” will feature spiked cleats and central incisors strewn about the heel.
