‘Chuck and Larry’ Gets Razzed

adam_sandler-2.jpg
Adam Sandler and Kevin James got a lot of attention for their “gay” fireman tale, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

Now the boys are getting even more attention from “worst” awards Razzies, which nominated the movie in eight categories of badness, including worst picture and lead actor!

We can’t help but revel in these nominations, for we always thought the movie bad – and not just for the fact that it starred Adam Sandler.

Unbelievably bad script, contrived situation and direction that would be inept for a reality TV series. Too bad, because the basic concept was a good one.

Gee a right wing ass hole makes a movie that makes gay marriage all about ripping off the system. Fills the movie full of homophobic innuendo and frat boy (we make fun of everybody) humor. It bombs how could have seen that one coming? The PR folks behind this piece of crap had legions of “commenters” defending this film on gay blogs everywhere before it even made it the theaters. It was truly pathetic seeing people defend this modern “Amos and Andy”.
