Chuck Norris Wants To Keep The Boy Scouts Ban On Gay People

Washed-up action star/GOP shill/plastic-surgery nightmare Chuck Norris must think the Boy Scouts are a bunch of pansies. Why else does he think they need to be protected against scary old gay people?

In a recent post on the gun-nut site Ammoland, Norris,22, suggested that James Turley, a high-raking BSA official and CEO of Ernst & Young, was encouraging the Scouts to “seek a change” in its gay ban because of Turley’s close ties to Barack Obama‘s “pro-gay” administration.

Is it a coincidence that in the same few weeks when Turley turned on the BSA with his pro-gay stance, Obama turned on the U.S. military and sent down a decree that the service branches must celebrate “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month”?

Is it a coincidence that Turley is in tight cahoots with the White House and that he is the only BSA national board member in 100 years to oppose its pro-traditional family stance?

Is it a coincidence that Turley just announced his resignation as CEO of Ernst & Young (effective June 2013) and that he now is offering the White House a parting pro-gay BSA gift in gratitude for all its presidential favors to him and Ernst & Young over the past few years?

These Turley-Obama cords, connections and correlations are only the tip of the iceberg.

Norris goes on to bemoan Obama’s distancing himself from the Scouts, a group Norris calls ” as integral a part of American life and culture as hot dogs, baseball and Grandma’s apple pie.”

And semi-automatic rifles, right Chuck?

Why would it be strange for a high-profile American to align himself with a President whose values he’s shares? Was Turley a rabid homophobe his whole life and then did a shocking turnaround when Obama invited him to dinner?

We do wonder, though, if the Boy Scouts think its wise to align themselves with Chuck Norris—sorry, Carlos Ray Norris—who admitted in 2004 to fathering a daughter from an extramarital affair and then not meeting her until ten years after she first contacted him.

Doesn’t sound very “morally straight” to us.
