When it came to the hospital visitation rights of Gita Deane and Lisa Polyak, the Dallas Principles co-author and Equality Maryland activist, discrimination appeared to be alive and well some 10 years ago during the birth of their second child. And in a remarkable piece of news reporting, CNN broke its trend of inviting on an “expert” to argue why, say, the homos shouldn’t be able to see their loved ones in the hospital.
