On Monday, CNN correspondent Brooke Baldwin brought David Pickup of the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH) to discuss the new California law banning reparative treatment for minors. Above, Baldwin essentially pwns Pickup. (What a name, right?)
It’s great that Baldwin took Pickup to task for his organization’s quackery. You know what’d be ever greater? If legitimate new sources like CNN didn’t bring on representatives from reactionary fringe groups to discuss the issues.

Why do these homophobes always believe that they have any leg to stand on in court. I can not wait to see this court case come up, and to watch them get bitch slapped by the courts all the way to the USSC.

This idiot.
I’m sorry for his abuse (IF THAT IS EVEN TRUE), but I’ve never been raped, nor abused by anyone to cause my sexuality, and if I had never learned to accept myself and start surrounding myself with people who liked me for me, I wouldn’t be here right now. I was depressed before I came out of the closet

Why was this guy even on the show? They don’t bring in members of the KKK to discuss health issues in the African American community or members of the slinter Mormon Polygomous cults to discuss relationships.

If the topic is reparative gay therapy, the only people available that work in the specific field are the azz clowns – no legitimate doctors use that x-gay nonsene. Well, Michele Bachmann’s husband does, or he did a couple yrs ago – her husband, Marcus Bachmann, is a “therapist” and allegedly hetero. He appears at :32 in linked clip:
