Coalescence.

A Catholic church in Elmira, New York will hold a very special service next month: “a morning of prayer, sharing and reflection for Catholics who have children, parents, siblings or grandchildren who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender.” Amen. [Star-Gazette]

Wonderful concept. Hopefully, it will be a service in which parents are supported in supporting their gay children. Watch to see how the bishop does or doesn’t react to this. The asshat bishop of Minneapolis wrote a letter saying that anyone who supports a gay person was guilty of grave sin…Imagine how that made paretns of gay children who want to be supportive and loving toward them feel.
